Our Team

Hanna graduated from NC State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and UNC-Charlotte in 2015 with a Master of Science in Accounting. After graduating and obtaining her CPA license she worked in public for 3 years, followed by a nonprofit organization in North Carolina for 2 years. Hanna found her home at Gomerdinger & Associates in October of 2021. She is a remote employee living in North Carolina with her husband and three boys.

Jennice graduated from Metro State University of Denver in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. After graduation, she started her career in a CPA firm. When the initial CPA firm dissolved, she came to Gomerdinger & Associates in January 2016. Jennice left full-time in April 2019 - November 2022 to work for a prior client but assisted Gomerdinger & Associates occasionally. She returned full-time to Gomerdinger & Associates in November 2022. She brings various experience with tax, bookkeeping and payroll.

David has been a team member since September of 2021. His bio is coming soon!

Nathan graduated from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi with a master’s degree in Taxation and Data Analytics. While pursuing his master’s, Nathan interned with BDO in 2021. Nathan also worked as a Controller and Tax Strategist for a family office in Nashville, TN after graduating in 2021. He moved to Colorado to join the G&A team and is looking forward to being a contributing factor to the growth of this firm!

Janet graduated from Franklin University in Columbus, OH in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Prior to joining the G&A team, she completed two tax seasons with local Ohio CPA firms. She also spent 6 years doing personal and small business tax returns in a nationwide retail chain. For the last few years, Janet has been running her own bookkeeping firm. She was born and raised in southwest Ohio where she lives now with her two teenage boys. She also has a grown daughter and a young granddaughter. Janet is ready to put her skills to the test and learn and grow with the G&A team!

Micheal Kent is an insightful, seasoned accountant whose experience is diverse in both industry and scope. Before joining the G&A team, Micheal worked on the east coast in several industries (med tech, robotics, and others), where he helped transform accounting and operations for multiple large and small organizations. Beyond standard accounting, he has managed ERP system implementation, process improvement and standardization of procedures. After transitioning from private accounting, he has worked in public accounting for more than four years where he specializes in tax and financial compilations. Micheal has a strong entrepreneurial business sense derived from owning his own business here in Colorado; he has a deep understanding of the nuances that business owners face. Micheal has a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Accounting from Michigan State University and a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of California (LA). When tax season is over, he is an avid golfer and snowboarder, enjoying all the beautiful assets that Denver has to offer.

Luke graduated from Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. While pursing his degree, he interned with Gomerdinger & Associates in 2016. Luke also worked as a bookkeeper and a tax preparer for the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program prior to graduating in 2018. He is excited to be back as an integral part of the G&A Team!

McKenna has come to Gomerdinger and Associates with over 14 years of experience. In addition to public accounting, she has also worked in non-profits and family offices. Her experiences have exposed her to different types of clients and industries with varying tax and accounting issues. She enjoys working with small businesses and their owners. In her free time McKenna enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, traveling and going to the mountains.

Marlena graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2002 with a degree in English and a license in Secondary Education. After three years of experience teaching in public schools, she sought a new career path, and has found a home with Gomerdinger & Associates since February 2008. Marlena brings several prior years of administrative experience to the firm, including eight years in small business development and support.

Tracey has worked in a variety of office settings as Administrative Support. She worked in the Human Resources Department at Douglas County School District until her first child was born. After staying at home with three children for 20 plus years it was time to get back into the working world. Tracey has been with Gomerdinger & Associates since February 2019.

Lily graduated from Murray State University with Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in accounting. After graduating, she worked in a CPA Firm of Mayfield, Kentucky till she moved to Denver in 2003. In Denver she started working in accounting field on contract basis. After settling in her new home, she worked in health care industry and after that for a non-profit organization till October 2022.

Beth is currently working towards a degree in public administration from the University of Colorado Denver which will be completed in 2026. She has prior experience in retail and non-profits. Beth joined the G&A team in 2022 and is excited to grow with the company.
